The farmstead is a property located on Pune Lavasa road, around 40 kilometers from Pune. This resort is located on the bank of river Mutha. The river rafting is done on Mutha river. We found this to be a perfect place for nature and adventure lovers. You can come here for one day picnic or can stay overnight. This place is surrounded by lush greenery. Although we visited this place in monsoon, as per the owner of the property, Winter is the best season to experience this place.
Personal Experience
I visited this place with friends and family from Pune. We started our journey at around 08:00 AM and reached the destination at around 10:00 AM. Though the distance from Pune is around 40 Kilometers, I was the new driver, driving slowly. The road was generally good though out from source to destination. On the way, there were a couple of places where you can take a halt to enjoy the scenic beauty. Generally, it should take around 1.50 hours to reach the destination from Pune. After reaching we were served delicious idli sambhar and Tea for breakfast.
After having breakfast we were up for some common activities and then sports. After an eventful session on the ground, we were somewhat tired. In Lunch, we enjoyed 2 vegetables (One Dry, One Gravy), Bhakri, Chapati, Rice, Daal, salads, chutneys, gulab jamuns, Papads. The food was delicious and we enjoyed a lot. After having lunch we enjoyed indoor games. Before leaving the resort we were served hot Kanda Bhajji (Onion Pakoda) and Tea/Coffee.

It is advisable to do a prior booking before visiting The Farmstead. They have multiple packages that you can choose. They can also customize packages based on your requirement. The rates I have mentioned below may not be latest as they are subject to change, Please check their recent rates on their website for updates.
We had taken a day package. Our Check-in time was 9:30 am and Check-out was at 5:30 pm.

How to reach The Farmstead
The best way would be to use google maps, for precaution download the map in offline mode. If you are traveling from Pune, it is around 40 Kilometers, The roads were good, but you will face traffic if you don’t leave early from Pune. Around 10 kilometers from Chandni Chowk Pune, you will start enjoying the scenic surroundings.

Activities
They have different activities in the different season though some remain common for all seasons. we have visited this place in the month of July after some heavy rains in the area. There are options for River Rafting, unfortunately, we were not able to do that. They have large grounds Where we enjoyed Football, Volleyball, and some other activities.
They have indoor games, where you can enjoy, Table Tennis, Pool Table, Chess, Carrom and many more. Based on the season you can enjoy bullock cart ride and other activities.
